Kenneth P. Snyder

NORTH TONAWANDA — Kenneth P. Snyder, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life Monday, May 6, 2013, at the age of 88. Born in Clarence, NY, Mr. Snyder resided in North Tonawanda for 41 years. He was a Navy veteran of W.W.II. Mr. Snyder was a retired employee of Occidental Petroleum Co., Niagara Falls, NY. Kenneth owned and operated Custard's Last Stand on Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst, NY, for 20 years. He was a member of Stephen Sikora Post #1322 American Legion, was an exempt fireman of Transit Road Volunteer Fire Dept., Third Degree member of Madonna Council #2535 Knights of Columbus, where he worked at their bingo and Friday fish frys, and a Fourth Degree member of the Trinity Assembly. Mr.       Snyder enjoyed doing carpenter work, building houses, watching the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Husband of the late Dorothy M. (nee Cummings) Snyder. Dearest father of Diane (Larry) Pfalzer of North Tonawanda and David (Janel) Snyder of Cicero, NY. Proud and loving grandfather of Larry (Kelly) Pfalzer, Scott Pfalzer, Shawn Snyder, Jaclyn (Michael) Townsend, Alyson Snyder, DJ and Michael, and great-grandfather of 10 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Paul Snyder of Amherst and the late Edward Snyder. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on SATURDAY, May 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on MONDAY, May 13, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM.

Madonna Council will have prayers on SATURDAY at 7:30 PM.

Sikora Post will have services on SATURDAY at 8:00 PM.
