Lewis Wheathall Lamson

NEWNAN, GA —

Lewis Wheathall Lamson, 94, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. He was born on October 15, 1918 to the late Lewis Lamson and Gertrude Wheathall Lamson.
Mr. Lamson is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Long Lamson. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Hughes; granddaughters, Megan and husband, Joseph Webb, Jamie Morgan Hughes, and Cassie and her husband, Christopher Mason. He is also survived by his two great- grandchildren, Katie Grace and Aubree.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the family home with Rev. Dan Atkins officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2525 Hwy. 34, E. Newnan, GA 30265.
