Raymond F. Krisnosky


Raymond F. Krisnosky, 87, passed peacefully at DeGraff Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility on Saturday, October 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. His parents, Frank and Julia (nee Sincivitch) Krisnosky; and brother, Leonard Krisnosky predeceased him.
Raymond enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino and spending time with his family. He was a retired transportation driver and was employed by NFTA Metro for 42 years. He also worked as a bus driver and attendant for 15 years for the North Tonawanda School District. He enlisted into the United States Navy and served his country honorably during World War II. He was a member of the Stephen Sikora America Legion Post 1322 and a lifelong member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Anna M. (nee Szabat) Krisnosky; children, Rick (Lynne) Krisnosky, Vivian (Ronald) Jurewicz, Jr. and Mark J. (Cheryl) Krisnosky. Also survived by grandchildren Julie Jurewicz, Katie (Scott) Smith, Marc Raymond Krisnosky and Zachary M. Krisnosky; great-grandchild, Joshua Jurewicz; brother, Robert "Bobby" Krisnosky; sister, MaryAnn Kowalski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 4-9 PM at Colucci Funeral Home, 652 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-4917). Family and friends please assemble at church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa R.C. Church, 626 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. An entombment service with full military honors will follow at Mount Olivet Holy Family Mausoleum in Kenmore, NY. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial gifts can be made in Raymond's memory to a charity of your choice.
