Rhonda Jean Riggs

LEWISTON — Rhonda Jean (nee Loughrey) Riggs, 60, lost her battle with heart disease on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.  

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Glen Riggs; her children, Tamieka Riggs, Gerald   (Kristen) Riggs and Kristy Riggs; seven grandchildren; her siblings, Pat Dean, Cliff (Norma) Loughrey, Claudia (Robert) Higgins, James (Christine) Loughrey, Wendy (Michael) Kraft,      Edward (Jane) Loughrey; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert (Joyce) Loughrey.

Rhonda was a proud, caring grandmother who loved to work on arts and crafts, play bingo and   attend garage sales. She was employed at several different jobs throughout her life, but most notable was her employment at American Rubber in North Tonawanda and Hills Dept. Store in Niagara Falls.  She was an organ donor who donated her body to the medical research dept. at UB.

All family and friends are invited to join the Riggs' family for a "celebration of Rhonda's life" memorial service to be held from 4-8 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Dom Polski Club, 576 Oliver St., N. Tonawanda, NY 14120.  Flowers are gratefully declined.
