NORTH TONAWANDA —
Dorothy Louise Knight, 87, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on February 21, 2014, under the care of Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Siener and wife of the late Donald Knight.
Dorothy was the loving mother of eight children, Judith (David) Doebler, Constance (Gary) Pogorzelski, Carol (Richard) Marinelli, Victoria (William) McCarthy, Richard (Donna) Knight, Laurel (Michael) Skuce, Patricia (Edmund) Golach and Douglas (Susan) Knight; devoted grandma to Jenny, Chrissy, Katie, Don, Bethany, Karen, Diana, Sara, John, Melissa, Jessie, Nick, Rachel, Matt, Pete, Jon, Lizzy, Josh, Adam, Emily, Holly, Adam, Lydia, Jeff, Becky and Andrew. She enjoyed her 17 great-grandchildren and taking care of her whole family. Dorothy is also survived by two brothers, Richard Siener (late Margaret) and George Siener (late Ruth); her dear cousin, Sheila (Herman) Bultmann and many nieces, nephews and good friends. She is fondly remembered by her dear friend, Darlene Felbinger. She was predeceased by her grandson, Elliott.
Dorothy enjoyed antiquing, estate sales, gardening, cooking and baking for her family, reading, cards with her friends and Scrabble with her family.
