CITY OF TONAWANDA —

Kenneth W. Nedell, age 46, of the City of Tonawanda, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital. Kenneth was the son of Diane (nee Chase) Nedell, who died in 1998. He was a 1984 graduate of Tonawanda High School and an Eagle Scout of Troop 600. Kenneth was co-owner of Tonawanda Products in North Tonawanda for more than 18 years. He was a member of the Gateway Harbor Ball Drop Committee, volunteer for the Riviera Theater, member of Niagara Dive & Rescue Team, supporter of the Dunkirk Conference Center, National Eagle Scouts Assoc.,volunteer for the North Tonawanda History Museum and many other community activities.
He is survived by his aunt, Wanda Chase of Tonawanda; his sister, Nancy (Roger) Kanouff of Kittrell, NC; and his brother, David (Catherine) Nedell of Tonawanda; and his three nieces, Lily, Rose and Madison. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3-9 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 AM in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St. in Tonawanda. The Rev. Jeremy Lopez will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions are preferred to Dunkirk Conference Center, 3602 East Lake Rd., Dunkirk, NY 14048 or to Salem United Church of Christ Youth Program.
