Lottie Strenk

NORTH TONAWANDA — Lottie (nee Szewczyk) Strenk, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 26, 2013, in her 97th year, after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Strenk was a retired employee of Mt. St. Mary's Academy, Kenmore. She was a foster grandmother for 16 years with the Foster Grandmother Program. She also was an usher at Artpark and a member of the former O.L.C. Rosary Society. Mrs.  Strenk enjoyed cooking, traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with her family.

Wife of the late Andrew Strenk. Dearest mother of Steven Strenk, Joanne (late Norman) Skop and Robert (Diane) Strenk. Proud and loving grandmother of Steven Strenk, Victoria Edwards,  Timothy and Cheryl Skop and great-grandmother of Noah, Liam and Kendylle. Sister of the late Joseph Szewczyk, Edward Szewczyk, Helen Kozen and Jean Czaja. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on TUESDAY, October 29 from 2-4 &    7-9 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Entombment, Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
