Joseph "Big Joe" Farnham

BUFFALO — Joseph "Big Joe" Farnham, age 55, of the Tonawandas, returned to our Creator on October 23, 2013, surrounded by loved ones at the VA Hospital in Buffalo, following a brief illness. Joe was a 1976 graduate of Tonawanda High School, a US Army veteran and a member of Tonawandas' Post 264 American Legion. Joe loved to spend time socializing and playing cards with his friends at his home in The Carrousel Apts. in North Tonawanda.

He was born April 11, 1958 to his parents, the late Burton and Josephine (nee Sandy) Farnham and was also predeceased by his sisters, Darlene and Debi. He is survived by his brothers, David Farnham of Six Nations, Ontario, Michael (Laura Robinson) Farnham and Charles (Judy) Farnham of Tonawanda; many nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Doris Measel of North Tonawanda.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service with military honors on            Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 4:00 PM in Joe's honor at Tonawandas' Post 264 American Legion, 60 Main Street, in Tonawanda, NY 14150.
