NORTH TONAWANDA —
Sandra Susan "Sandi" Taylor, of North Tonawanda, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 17, 2013, at home, peacefully, from complications due to multiple sclerosis, at age 65.
Beloved wife of Douglas P. Taylor for 42 years and a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. Sandi was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School and the Bryant and Stratton Business Institute of Buffalo with an associate's degree in accounting. She worked at Prudential Insurance Company as an executive secretary for many years, and starting in 1991 was a Government Contacts Administrator at Taylor Devices, Inc., of North Tonawanda, retiring due to the effects of MS in 2000.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Douglas; three children, Alan Taylor of North Tonawanda, Erin (David) Francis of East Aurora, and David(Ashley) Taylor of Kenmore; two grandchildren, Bethany and Catherine Francis; her sister, Bonnie(Robert J.) Mioducki of Grand Island and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Doris Forbes.
Sandi will be remembered as a loving and attentive wife, mother and grandmother who remained cheerful and in good spirits despite her long-term health problems.
Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver Street in North Tonawanda, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org/donate/index.aspx or the Visiting Nurses Association of Western New York Fund at www.vnawny.org/about/VNA-Fund.asp
