CITY OF TONAWANDA —
Anthony (Tony) Brooks, 73, died, suddenly, at his home on Friday, January 18, 2013. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 22, 1939, the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kelly) Brooks, eldest son of seven children. Tony moved to Buffalo in the mid-1960s and worked for various industrial cleaning companies, primarily CH-Heist.
He is remembered dearly by his wife, Margaret (Sciandra) Brooks; his three daughters, Kellie (Mark) Roy, TerryJo (Paul) Brooks-Devlin and Kimberly Brooks. His legacy will be carried on by his five grandchildren, Caitlin, Elise, Christine, Melanie and Stuart.
Tony graciously donated his body for anatomical studies and medical research at the State University of New York at Buffalo. The Anatomical Gift Program is a non-profit program funded by the University at Buffalo. His eyes were accepted by UNYTS.
A celebration of his life will be held at 612 Adam St., Tonawanda, on Friday, January 25, where friends may come any time after 2 PM.
