Thomas Hedges

BROKEN ARROW, OK —  

Thomas Hedges, age 68, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, formerly of Tonawanda, entered into rest on Thursday, January 31, 2013 after a brief illness. Born on April 15, 1944, he was the son of the late Carl and Catherine Hedges. He had been a resident of Tonawanda and was educated and worked in this area before moving away 40 years ago. An avid golfer, Tom was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the Knights of Columbus Twin City Council No. 413 while residing in Tonawanda.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann (nee Salisbury) Hedges; four sons, Kevin (Peggy Jean) Hedges, Shawn Hedges, Kenneth (Nicole) Hedges, and Christian Hedges; a daughter, Keri Ann Hedges; three grandchildren, Jozalynn, Amberlyn and Izabella; and a great-grandson, Jackson Wade. Also surviving are several brothers; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on February 12th at St. Benedict R.C. Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. If desired, memorials to St. Francis Church in Tonawanda are preferred by the family.
