KENMORE — Werner Hoffmann, age 87, of the City of Tonawanda, Monday, May 6, 2013, at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, under the care of Hospice. Born in Germany, he had been a resident of Tonawanda for the past 62 years and was the son of the late Fritz and Margarete Hoffmann, and brother of the late Alfred Hoffmann. Werner had been employed by Spaulding Fibre Co. in Tonawanda for more than 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Beloved husband of 58 years of Lore (nee   Strathmann) Hoffmann, he was the dearest father of Linda (William) Schulz of Orchard Park, Susan Kamberaj of Tonawanda, Sharon (Jack) Wells of Fayetteville, GA, and Brian Hoffmann of Tonawanda; loving Pappa to his grandchildren, Emily (Marc), Daniel (Alyssa), Amanda (Peter), Megan (Joshua), Rachel (Kenny) and Jonathan, and his great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jaden, Olivia and Nolan. Also survived by several cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda. A memorial service will be held  Saturday at 11 AM in The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 481 Brighton Road in the Town of Tonawanda. Friends invited. Mr. Ray Lockhart will officiate.
