Diane M. Kubas-Rozanski

BUFFALO — Diane M. (nee Poyfair) Kubas-Rozanski, age 73, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Diane was born in Lockport, NY to the late Francis and Marie (Lamont) Poyfair on March 4, 1941.

Diane grew up in North Tonawanda where she graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1958. She married Roger Kubas in 1959. They later divorced. Diane worked for Occidental Chemical for 30 years, retiring in 2001. She also lived in Corpus Christi, TX. She married her true love, Richard Rozanski in 1998.

Diane enjoyed traveling, especially to South Bend, IN to visit the campus of Notre Dame and rooting on the fighting Irish Football team. She took pleasure in hosting family get-togethers, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Diane enjoyed watching the wild life around her home, spending time at the family property in Middleport, and relaxing times with her dog, Freckles.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Rich; children, Timothy (Barb) Kubas, Ronald (Melissa) Kubas, Jacqueline (Robert) Strickland, Richard (Ninette) Rozanski and Susan (David) Levin and grandchildren, Nicholas, Alyssa and Joel Kubas, Scotty, Kyle and Christine Strickland, Olivia (Bryan Wallace) Rozanski, Taylor and Melina Levin and great-granddaughter, Ava Wallace. Sister of Gloria (Rom) Cochi.

A memorial gathering will be held TUESDAY, May 27th, from 10 to 11 AM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM.
