Robert Emil Linde

LECANTO, FL — Robert Emil Linde, 86, of Homosassa, FL, died March 4, 2013, under the loving care of the staff at Diamond Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in Lecanto, FL. Robert was born on June 15, 1926 in Haddonfield, NJ to the late Florence (Reifenberger) and Frederick Linde and raised in Honesdale, PA by his aunt and uncle, Pearl and Frank Reifenberger. He was a resident of North Tonawanda, NY and Fort Lauderdale, FL before moving to Homosassa, FL.

Robert attended Temple University in Scranton, PA, gaining an education in electronics. He was an entrepreneur, owning businesses in the electronics line, such as Linde Television and Hi-Lite TV. He was a long-time member of the Elks and the Moose Fraternal Organizations and he was also a lifetime member of the Live Hose Fire Department #4 in North Tonawanda, NY.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Susan McLaughlin (Patrick) of Homosassa, FL; his son, Frederick Linde (Carol) of Moscow, PA; granddaughters, Jennifer Sypert (David) of Steamboat Springs, CO, Lisa Laquintano (Paul) of Clarks Summit, PA; and a grandson, Timothy McLaughlin of Crystal River, FL. Robert is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Andrew Laquintano and Samuel, Jack and Natalie Sypert. He was preceded in death by brothers, Frederick and William.

Internment and a family service will be held in the summer in Honesdale, PA.
