Edward S. Kasperek

BUFFALO — Edward S. Kasperek of Buffalo, NY, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the age of 91, after a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Buffalo, Mr. Kasperek was a retired employee of Republic Steel, Buffalo, and a former employee of Westinghouse M&R, Buffalo. He enjoyed wood working, walking and especially enjoyed taking his grandchildren to Krull Park, Olcott.

Beloved husband of 63 years to M. Virginia "Ginny" (nee Dryden) Kasperek. Dearest father of Joseph (Tina) Kasperek of Fairview Heights, IL and John (Anne) Kasperek of North Tonawanda. Proud and loving grandfather of Michael, Zachary (Vanessa), Jessica (David) and Maria. Dear brother of Mary Hoffman of Canadaigua, NY and the late Stanley, Louis (Jewel) and Valentine Kasperek. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on SUNDAY, March 16th, from 3 to 7 PM at the SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on Monday at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM. Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga. Flowers graciously declined. Memorial gifts may be made in Edward's honor to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
