NORTH TONAWANDA —
James F. Labushesky, 82, of North Tonawanda, Tuesday (April 1, 2014). Mr. Labushesky was born in North Tonawanda on July 9, 1931 to Arthur and Leona (Sebold) Labushesky. James was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda. He retired after 19 1/2 years from Harrison Radiator as a Tool and Die Maker. He was a member of the NRA and Master Sergeant 174th Army National Guard. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, gardening, bee keeping, and spending time with his family. Mr. Labushesky was predeceased by his sister, Jean (Jud) Petti and brother, Leonard (Lorna) Labushesky.
Mr. Labushesky is survived by his wife, Helen (Barberio) Labushesky; father of Laurie (Roger) Grady, Michael (Lisa), Vicki (Robert) Paulsen-Moody; brother of Peter (Terri) Labushesky; grandfather of Sean, Taylor, Joseph, Christopher, Annalyse, Joshua and Ian; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, (NEW LOCATION), North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 AM from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
