Lena Abramo


Lena (nee Paulucci) Abramo, age 91, of Tonawanda, died on Monday, November 11, 2013 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Born and raised in North Collins, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mary (nee Antonita) Paulucci. A resident of Tonawanda for more than 55 years, Lena was the last survivor of six brothers and three sisters in Paulucci Family of North Collins. She was the wife of the late Salvatore A. Abramo, who died in 1999; and mother of the late Angelo Abramo, who died this July.
She is survived by two sons, Philip (Susan) Abramo and Samuel Abramo. Also surviving are six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Thursday only at the Hamp Funeral Home, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at St. Francis Chapel, 71 Adam Street, Tonawanda. Friends invited. Entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorials to Hospice Buffalo are preferred by the family.
