Mary J. Smith

NORTH TONAWANDA —  

Mary J. (nee Vrabec) Smith of North Tonawanda entered into eternal life on Friday, February 22, 2013 in her 73rd year at Buffalo General Hospital, after a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Smith was a former employee of R.T. Jones Lumber Co. She enjoyed needlepoint, gardening and spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of 48 years to John P. Smith; dearest mother of John J. (Julie) Smith and Theresa Smith, both of North Tonawanda; proud and loving grandmother of Jessica Smith; sister of John (Donna) Vrabec of Wyoming and the late Elizabeth "Betty" Van de Bogart. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present to greet relatives and friends on MONDAY, February 25th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the  SABER FUNERAL HOME, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda (692-0271), where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 11 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 11:30 AM Entombment Ascension Mausoleum, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
