Tonawanda News — When is Niagara Street in the City of Tonawanda going to be paved? It is just as bad as the streets in the Falls. It’s been in need of paving for years. What’s the problem with the mayor? Why hasn’t he paved that road? All our tourists and visitors come through there. They pave these silly little streets that don’t even need it but a main street like that is left with potholes and patches. It’s horrendous.

I would like to ask the Tonawanda school superintendent or the parties responsible for the excessive volume at the new stadium, why is this necessary? And why do we need rap music when we’re asked not to swear or use abusive language? Am I being bullied by this system?

The Sabres are just like the government bleeders. They’re just showing up for a paycheck. We need people who care about the human race.

Municipalities sell off parcels of land all the time. Why is it such a big deal that they do it with Smoke on the Water?

People need to remember a vote for Rick Davis or Jackie Smilinich is a vote for Gayle Syposs. She’s tried to run this city long enough. Let’s boot her out. Real Democrats, let’s show we can cross party lines and vote for the right people.

I live on Grove Terrace in the City of Tonawanda. I have already filed two complaints with a supervisor at the City of Tonawanda Post Office about my mail not being delivered. Once again this month I’m missing mail. Can someone advise me about the course of action I can take to get my mail? Is anyone else in the Grove Street area having problems with their mail? What can I do, folks?

Whole neighborhoods made of brick await development, redevelopment, gentrification, whatever wand will be waved at them to make them function again. Structures here tend not to be razed; they fall down occasionally but typically simply stand and wait.

I guess that's what makes my career choice so very obvious. I think "must know everything" is at the top of most journalists' trait lists.
