Tonawanda News — I agree with the person that says there should be criminal charges against companies producing medicines that are killing people. We are told we can’t buy medicines from Canada because they’re not guaranteed and proven safe. Neither are our medicines and I’ve never heard a big uproar about the Canadians getting medicines that are killing them, but I have about ours. Is that a two-way street or something? The government and the Food and Drug Association, shouldn’t they be taking better care of our people and not worry if we get medicines from Canada? I’m sure canada is not there to kill people. They’re our neighbors and our friends. I’d rather trust them than our government.

In regards to the grandparents taking their grandson to church and seeing the parents out playing football with their kids. I apologize that as a father and my wife as a mother, we work five days a week, nine hours a day to to support our kids. Our kids get out of school at 3:30 p.m. When do you want the kids to play football?

To the person complaining about turning the clocks back. It is daylight savings time. It happens every single year and the entire world does it. Based on your call I’d say they need the schooling so much that standing in the dark is the least of their worries. Also who waits for the school bus, at the stop, an hour before it comes?

The newspapers say Obama is going to meet with members of Congress to talk about the “Fiscal Cliff.” Of course, we know that he will have the usual “request,” in other words, “his way or the highway.” He wont give in, but he expects Congress to back down, but he’ll accuse them of wanting it to be “their way or the highway”! Strange, isn’t it? Not really, not coming from Obama, anyways. Whadda ya think?
