BLOTTER: Police reports published April 15

North Tonawanda

CHARGED: Timothy D. Gardner, 42, 840 Revere Ave., was charged with driving while intoxicated at 9:10 p.m. Sunday. Gardner failed field sobriety tests, according to reports. Gardner is being held in lieu of $750 bail.

City of Tonawanda

CHARGED: Rebecca L. Costa, 24, 153 Grove St., was arrested Monday on a warrant for an original offense of felony conspiracy and a misdemeanor charge of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Costa is being held in lieu of $1,500 bail.

ACCIDENT: No charges have been filed against a Niagara Falls man who hit three parked cars after he fell asleep at the wheel while traveling along Delaware Street Sunday night, City of Tonawanda police reported.

Joshua A. Baker, 25, of 1205 85th St., was driving on Delaware at about 8:51 p.m. Sunday when his vehicle struck the rear driver side quarterpanel of one parked car. Baker’s vehicle continued to scrape along the car’s doors, and also ripped off the front bumper and caused damage to the parked vehicle’s axle.

Baker’s vehicle then struck another parked vehicle in the rear bumper with such force that it was pushed into the rear of the car in front of it.

DWI: Tina M. Jagow, 36, 7095 Witmer Road, North Tonawanda, was charged at 2:28 a.m. Monday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, driving without inspection and crossing the double yellow line.

Jagow was pulled over on Main Street, near Morgan Street, after patrol saw her car cross the double yellow line on Main. Jagow exhibited signs of intoxication and initially told police she had two drinks before later saying she had five, according to police reports.

Jagow’s blood alcohol content registered 0.19 percent on a Datamaster test, according to reports. She was held for court.

ASSAULT: A 14-year-old boy was treated and released from Kenmore Mercy Hospital Sunday night after he was punched off of his bicycle, according to police reports.

The incident happened just before 10 p.m. at Bouck and Fletcher streets. The boy was talking on his cell phone while riding his bike behind two other friends. A man who appeared to be 20 then punched the 14-year-old in the face, knocking him off the bike. The boy ran away, fearing that the attacker would come after him, police reported.

When the attacker realized that the boy he hit was not his intended target, he returned the bike to the boy and asked him not to call the police.

Town of Tonawanda

CHARGED: Amy E. Koehler, 45, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at 7:25 a.m. Friday. Koehler allegedly parked her car in someone else’s driveway and was verbally abusive toward police who were called to help remove it, according to reports. Koehler allegedly attempted to strike an officer while being arrested after she refused to quiet down, according to reports. Koehler was held for the judge.

DWI: Jennifer L. Small, 31, was charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding at 12:33 a.m. Saturday. Small was stopped for speeding and the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Small allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.16 percent blood alcohol content, according to reports. Small was held for the judge.

CHARGED: Alwin S. Rodriguez was charged with third-degree attempted assault at 9:40 p.m. Friday. Rodriguez allegedly punched a man in the head who he believed was having an affair with his wife. Rodriguez was held in lieu of $200 bail.

CHARGED: Michael J. Whitney, 43, was charged with driving while intoxicated, moving from a lane unsafely, speeding and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway at 12:40 a.m. Saturday. Whitney was stopped for speeding and changing lanes without signaling when the officer noticed the odor of alcohol and an open beer in the cup holder, according to reports. Whitney allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content, according to reports. Whitney was held for the judge.

CHARGED: Patrika Wade was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon at 3:54 a.m. Sunday. Wade was arrested after a domestic incident, according to reports. Wade was held for the judge.

Wheatfield

STOLEN VAN: A Baer Road man reported Thursday that someone stole a 1986 Chevrolet van, worth $2,000, from his driveway.

VANDALISM: An agent for Cartus Relocation reported Friday that someone entered a residence on Spice Creek Road and caused damage. The suspect reportedly went upstairs, took the shower hose out of the bathtub and turned it on, allowing water to spread throughout the house. When the agent arrived Friday, the kitchen ceiling had collapsed and water was in the garage, basement and living room. Damage was estimated at $25,000.
