BLOTTER: Police reports published April 28

The Tonawanda News

North Tonawanda

• BURGLARY: Underground Autosound on Oliver Street was broken into sometime early Sunday morning, North Tonawanda police reported. A total of $3,297 in merchandise was reported stolen, including a 12-inch speaker sub-woofer, an amplifier, car stereo, a laptop and a VHS recorder.

City of Tonawanda

• DWI: Stephanie A. Catlin, 18, of Buffalo, was charged at 2:30 a.m. Sunday with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and driving to the left of pavement markings.

Patrol observed Catlin’s vehicle veer left on Main Street but failed to stop when the officer activated the emergency lights. Catlin then turned left onto Niagara Street and continued driving, although the officer had also activated his siren, according to police reports.

Catlin stopped in front of 150 Niagara St. and allegedly told the officer that she didn’t pull over because she was talking on her cell phone. Catlin initially said she did not consume any alcohol, then said she had two beers before admitting that she had one beer and three mixed drinks, police reported.

Catlin had a 0.11 percent blood alcohol content, according to police. She was held for court.

Wheatfield

• PETIT LARCENY: A Williams Road woman reported that she is missing $1,000 and that it may have been stolen from her residence Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. There was no forced entry.
