BLOTTER: Police reports published May 2

Town of Tonawanda

DWI: Maryjane L. Fix, 49, of Buffalo, was charged with driving while intoxicated and illegal signal at 9:36 p.m. Wednesday. Fix was stopped for turning without a signal when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Fix allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and refused a chemical breath test, according to reports. Fix was held for court.

DWI: Fernando Pena Jr., 29, of North Tonawanda, was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, speeding and failure to yield at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday. Pena was stopped for speeding when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Pena allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and then ran from police while they were checking his information, according to reports. Pena was subdued after a brief foot chase and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content, according to reports. Pena was held for court.

North Tonawanda

CHARGED: Charles S. Foss, 46, 1247 Sweeney St., was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with theft of service after he allegedly stiffed a cab driver on the fare. He is being held in lieu of $200 bail.

DWI: Drew A. Bumpers, 24, 3924 Ridge Road, Lockport, was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with driving while intoxicated. Bumpers was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

CHARGED: Felicia M. Ranck, 19, 555 Oliver St., was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with second-degree harassment. She is being held in lieu of $50 bail.

CHARGED: Doreen F. Fosburgh, 25, 555 Oliver St., was arrested early Thursday and charged with second-degree harassment. She is being held in lieu of $50 bail.

DWI: Jessica R. Yeager, 26, 72 Keil St., was arrested Thursday and charged with driving while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent. Yeager turned herself in on a bench warrant issued Sept. 18, 2003. She is being held in lieu of $750 bail.

CHARGED: Ronald C. Woods, 27, 79 Wheatfield St., was arrested Thursday and charged with petit larceny.

CHARGED: Christopher J. Cassenti, 24, 94 Chaplin Drive, Town of Tonawanda, was arrested Thursday and charged with petit larceny and failure to appear. He is held in lieu of $500 bail.
