City of Tonawanda

• MARIJUANA: Keith K. Grose, 45, 380 Oliver St. Apt. 4, was charged at 1:17 a.m. Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana and false personation. Police saw Grose picking up loose change underneath the drive-through window at the Burger King on Young Street. When asked to provide his name, Grose allegedly gave a different one because he was concerned that he had a warrant issued against him for not paying rent. While patting Grose down, police allegedly found 10 small bags of marijuana in his jacket pocket. Grose is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

• WARRANT: Edgar C. Buterbaugh, 39, 304 Adam St. upper apartment, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for an original offense of criminal contempt on June 14. Buterbaugh was held for court.

Town of Tonawanda

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Mary M. Cruz, 45, of Kenmore, was charged at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday with felony criminal mischief following an argument she had with her landlord, according to police reports. Cruz allegedly damaged her landlord’s vehicle. She was released on an appearance ticket.

• HARASSMENT: Gerard J. Witzel, 54, was charged at 9:18 p.m. Monday with disorderly conduct and harassment following a domestic incident which began when Witzel could not find his slow cooker, according to police reports.

Kenmore

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Two Town of Tonawanda residents were arrested Saturday after police were called to a fight on Hoover Avenue, according to police reports.

Patrick R. Farrell, 25, of 1202 Parkhurst Blvd., was charged at 11:05 p.m. with criminal mischief. Farrell, who was “highly intoxicated,” was seen using a chair to smash the windshield of a car parked on Hoover Avenue, according to police reports. Farrell was released on an appearance ticket.

At about the same time, Nichole R. Gibson, 22, of the same address, was charged with disorderly conduct. Gibson also was released on an appearance ticket.

• HARASSMENT: Alexander S. Sawyer, 20, 168 Palmer Ave., was charged at 7:06 p.m. Sunday with harassment for a domestic incident. Sawyer was released on his own recognizance.

• HARASSMENT: Darren J. Burgett, 38, 302 West Hazeltine Ave., was charged with harassment at 9:15 a.m. June 26 and released on an appearance ticket. Burgett allegedly threatened a gas station clerk after she refused to sell cigarettes to Burgett’s daughter, who did not have identification on her.

• HARASSMENT: Theresa L. Coleman, 34, 342 Shepard Ave., was charged with aggravated harassment and harassment at 7:59 a.m. June 26 following a domestic incident. Coleman was released on her own recognizance.

• WARRANT: Leo Tomczak, 43, of 134 Somerton Ave., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for original offenses of third-degree assault and harassment on June 30. Tomczak is being held in lieu of $2,000 bail.

• WARRANT: Mike A. Monteforte, 30, 22 Blum Ave., Buffalo, was arrested Monday on a warrant for felony criminal mischief on March 28, 2006. Monteforte was released on his own recognizance.
