A Homeyer Road woman called sheriff’s deputies after finding a severed deer head on the hood of her car early about 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Deputies said the deer head was that of a male deer with its antlers cut from the skull cap. No damage was visible to the car.
The 19-year-old woman said she didn’t know who had left the head there or why anyone would do such a thing.

WARRANT: Julie Devore, 24, 200 East Felton St., North Tonawanda, surrendered Monday on a warrant for endangering the welfare of a child. She was held for court.
DWI: Brian L. Ferger, 27, 5707 Aaron Drive, Lockport, was arrested Sunday for aggravated DWI and making an improper right turn near the intersection of Delaware and Canton streets. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.18 percent. He was held for court.
VANDALISM: Michael S. Nutefall, 22, 25 Courtside Drive, Apt. A, North Tonawanda, was arrested Monday for making graffiti and possession of a graffiti instrument. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail.
DWI: Ashley N. Trahan, 21, 1996 Route 44, Shingleton Pa., was arrested Sunday for DWI, possession of marijuana and speeding near the intersection of Twin City Memorial Highway and East Niagara Street. Her blood alcohol content was found to be 0.16 percent. She was held for court.

DISORDERLY: Scott D. Bush, 46, 359 Drake Drive, was arrested Monday for disorderly conduct. He was released on his own recognizance.

DRUGS: Ronald Thomas was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal mischief at 1:12 a.m. Sunday. Thomas was arrested after a report of a fight and found to have several bags of marijuana in his pockets, according to reports. Thomas also refused to give his phone number to police and smashed his phone rather than have them find it. He was held for court.
ADWI: Benjamin C. Daley was charged with aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:15 a.m. Sunday. Daley was questioned after officers found him sitting in his car in a parking lot at a closed business when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Daley allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.18 percent blood alcohol content. A search of his wallet turned up a plastic bag of marijuana. Daley was held for court.
ADWI: Adam J. Divincenzo was charged with aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:09 a.m. Sunday. Divincenzo was stopped for swerving when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Divincenzo allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.22 percent blood alcohol content. A search of his vehicle turned up a plastic container of marijuana. Divincenzo was held for court.
