LARCENY: Timothy Love was charged with attempted petit larceny at 1 p.m. Monday. Love and another man entered the Bon-Ton and began picking out items, according to reports. The other man went into the dressing room with three coats, then ran out of the store wearing all three, jumped into a white SUV and drove away. Love was stopped by store security while still in the women’s fitting rooms and allegedly asked store staff to give him a break because he is an addict. Love was held for court.
DWI: Matthew E. Kwietniewski was charged with aggravated DWI and following too closely at 8:40 p.m. Sunday. Kwietniewski was being questioned after an accident when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Kwietniewski allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.32 percent blood alcohol content. Kwietniewski was held for court.

DWAI: Donald J. Martin, 52, 60 Stenzil St., North Tonawanda, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and leaving the scene of an accident at 9:18 p.m. Monday. Martin was stopped after a caller told police he struck a utility pole and left the scene when the officer detected the odor of alcohol, according to reports. Martin allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and a chemical breath test revealed a 0.04 percent blood alcohol content. Officers observed Martin for an extended period, then transported him to Kenmore Mercy Hospital for a blood sample. Martin was held for court.
WARRANT: Justin P. Brennan, 23, 208 Dunlop Ave., Town of Tonawanda, was arrested on a warrant for unlicensed operation at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday. Brennan was held for court.

LARCENY: Aimee L. Smith, 24, 76 Bellah Place, was arrested Tuesday for petit larceny. She was released on her own recognizance.
DWI: Michael R. Healing, 22, 282 Tremont St., was arrested Monday for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, DWI and an unregistered trailer. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.11 percent. He is being held in lieu of $750 bail.
