ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Police are investigating an attempted break-in at 4:34 a.m. Saturday at Brando’s Pizzeria, 354 Oliver St. Officers found a window had been smashed and a mailbox was damaged. No suspects were listed in the report. Damage was estimated at $625. 

City of Tonawanda

DWI: Matthew J. Randall, 23, of Sharon Drive, was charged at 4:36 a.m. Saturday with aggravated DWI, a felony, and improper right turn following an accident on Tussing Lane. Police said Randall made a wide turn onto Tussing and struck a tree. His blood alcohol content was listed as 0.19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He was held for court.
