DRUGS: Edward F. Farley IV, 24, of Main Street, was charged at 6:59 p.m. Thursday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, possession of a hypodermic instrument and petit larceny. Police said they were called to the Dollar General store on Niagara Street for a shoplifting complaint. They allegedly found Farley in possession of prescription narcotics and a needle. He was held for court.
DRUGS: Dennis A. Lawlor II, 26, of Oelkers Street, North Tonawanda, was charged at 9:59 p.m. Friday with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. Police were called to Burger King on Delaware Street for a report of an intoxicated female and a male companion who refused to leave the women's bathroom. When police arrived, they allegedly found Lawlor inside the stall. Officers said they found illegal narcotics on Lawlor after he initially refused to come out of the bathroom. He was held for court.
DWI: Anthony J. Dinieri Jr., 54, of Baxter Street, Buffalo, was charged at 2:26 a.m. Saturday with DWI and an illegal turn signal after being pulled over at Hinds and Morgan streets. Dinieri refused a breath test and was held for court.
DWI: Michael A. Czajka, 34, of Raymond Avenue, Cheektowaga, was charged at 3:42 a.m. Saturday with aggravated DWI and moving from a lane unsafely after a traffic stop on Ellicott Creek Road. Police said a caller reported a vehicle matching Czajka's was driving erratically in the area. His blood alcohol content was measured at 0.19 percent after a breath test. He was held for court.
DWI: Abrahiem K. Ashford, 26, of Shultz Street, Niagara Falls, was charged at 4:55 a.m. Saturday with DWI, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, passing a red light and driving left of pavement markings after being pulled over at Main and Niagara streets. Ashford refused a breath test and was held for court.
PETIT LARCENY: Jill A. Pufpaff, 44, 335 Vandervoort St., was charged at 1:42 p.m. Saturday with petit larceny. Police were called to Walmart, 866 Niagara Falls Boulvevard, after store employees allegedly caught Pufpaff trying to steal $40.94 in cleaning supplies and other merchandise. She is being held in lieu of $240 bail.
HARASSMENT: Andre V. Mangham, 31, 1080 Military Road, Town of Tonawanda, was charged at 12:35 a.m. Saturday with second-degree harassment after a domestic dispute on Vandervoort Street. He was held for court.
WARRANT: Shannon D. Houston, 43, 304 Hempstead Ave., Buffalo, was charged at 4:01 p.m. Saturday on a warrant with failure to appear to answer a third-degree criminal mischief charge. Buffalo police picked up Houston after a stop on Delaware Avenue. She is being held in lieu of $500 bail.
WARRANT: Daniel J. Edin Jr., 44, 29 Cramer St., was charged at 4:35 p.m. Friday on warrants for fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree auto stripping. He was released on his own recognizance.
PETIT LARCENY: Jesse J. Trapasso, 31, 292 Bryant St., lower rear apartment, was charged at 7:09 p.m. Friday with three counts of petit larceny. Police were called to Walmart, 866 Niagara Falls Boulevard, after store employees allegedly caught Trapasso trying to steal an Xbox game system and other merchandise. He is being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
