MARIJUANA: Two Buffalo men were charged at 11:30 p.m. Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Niagara Street. Evan A. Roorand, 21, and Justin Taramasco, 26, both of Potomac Avenue, Buffalo, were charged after an officer saw the car Roorand was driving make an illegal turn. Officers smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and found a pipe with resin in it hidden in the passenger door pocket. They were released on their own recognizance.

PETIT LARCENY: Kayla M. Heaps, 17, 583 77th Ave., Niagara Falls and Paige J. Miron, 17, 1323 D’Angelo Drive, Apt. A1, were each charged with petit larceny after a shoplifting complaint at Walmart, 886 Niagara Falls Blvd. They are charged with stealing $60 in assorted makeup. Heaps is a cashier at the store. Both were released on their own recognizance.
