CONTEMPT: Peter J. Rizzo Jr., 25, of Chipman Place, North Tonawanda, was charged at 12:17 a.m. Saturday with second-degree criminal contempt and speeding. Police pulled Rizzo over on the Twin Cities Memorial Highway at Young Street where he was found in violation of a stay-away order of protection. He was held for court.

THEFT: Sean P. Oshirak, 35, of Washington Street, was charged at 3:57 p.m. Friday with two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of petit larceny, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, driving without an ignition interlock device, no registration, no insurance and no inspection. Police said Oshirak stole license plates belonging to another vehicle. He is being held in lieu of $750 bail.

ENDANGERMENT: Brandon M. Souter, 21, of Clover Lane Drive, Elma, was charged at 8:46 p.m. Friday with endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on Stenzil Street. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail.

DWI: Christine L. Heyden, 26, of Victoria Boulevard, Kenmore, was charged at 3:03 a.m. Saturday with DWI and no headlights following a traffic stop at Oliver and Sommer streets. She refused a breath test and is being held in lieu of $250 bail.
