Tonawanda News — City of Tonawanda

RESISTING: Michael J. Backstrom, 27, of Poultney Avenue, Buffalo, was arrested Tuesday for resisting arrest. He also had a felony warrant in Lackawanna. Backstrom was held for court.

BURGLARY: John M. Ferenc, 83, of Adam Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Tuesday for second-degree burglary, petit larceny and criminal contempt. He was held for court. 

WARRANT: Victor M. Rodriguez Jr., of Riverside Avenue, Buffalo, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Town of Tonawanda police turned him over and he was held for court.

HARASSMENT: Mark M. Miller, 53, of Scott Street, was arrested Tuesday for second-degree harassment. He was held for court.

DRUGS: Shana R. Coleman, 24, of Mullen Street, was arrested Wednesday for criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was held for court. 

Town of Tonawanda

FLEEING: Raymond G. Espinosa was arrested Monday for fleeing a police officer, reckless driving, failure to stop at stop signs, speeding and passing a red light. After driving away from a police officer who was pursuing him, Espinosa finally stopped on Woodgate Road. He was issued 14 traffic tickets and was held for court. 

DRUGS: William H. Love was arrested Tuesday for unlawful possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle without stop lights. He is being held in lieu of $150 bail.

DRUGS: Roberto Archie was arrested Tuesday for unlawful possession of marijuana. He is being held in lieu of $150 bail. 

DWI: Christopher M. Keller was arrested Tuesday for aggravated DWI and unsafe tires. His blood alcohol level was 0.26 percent and he was issued traffic tickets. 

North Tonawanda 

TRESPASS: Daniel A. Pantera, 66, 127 Rumbold Ave., was charged at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday with failure to appear in court for a trespass charge. He turned himself into police on a warrant and was held for court.
