Tonawanda News — Town of Tonawanda

DWI: Russell A. Nugent was arrested Sunday for aggravated DWI, refusal to take a breath test, moving from a lane unsafely, failure to yield right of way for an emergency vehicle and speeding. He was issued traffic tickets. 

DWI: Sarah E. Lucier was arrested Sunday for DWI and failure to use the designated lane. Her blood alcohol content was 0.13 percent and she was issued traffic tickets. 

DRUGS: James L. Nelson was arrested Saturday for criminal possession of a controlled substance and having a controlled substance in a non-original container. He is being held in lieu of $250 bail. 

DWI: Shamaar D. Braggs was arrested Saturday for DWI, unsafe turn, speeding, an equipment violation and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. His blood alcohol content was 0.17 percent and he was issued traffic tickets. 

LARCENY: Michael W. Landsman Jr. was arrested Friday for petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He allegedly stole beer from a store and is being held in lieu of $500 bail.

IMPRISONMENT: Michael A. Haggins was arrested Thursday for criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.

City of Tonawanda

LARCENY: Oleg Faynshteyn, 20, of Highland Avenue, was arrested Sunday for petit larceny. Faynshteyn was issued an appearance ticket. 

North Tonawanda

LARCENY: Christina M. Wielgosz, 27, 195 Vandervoort St., was charged at 4:11 p.m. Saturday on Niagara Falls Boulevard with petit larceny. She was held for court. 

HARASSMENT: Brandon G. Starkweather, 21, 1115 Oliver St., Apt. A-2, was charged at 1:49 a.m., Saturday with second-degree harassment. He was held for court. 

BURGLARY: Christopher G. Stone, 122 Syracuse St., Tonawanda, was charged at 7:48 a.m. Monday with second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief. He is being held in lieu of $1,500 bail.
