POSSESSION: Bruce D. Laporte, 65, Brown Lane, Ellenbor, N.C., was charged at 6:21 p.m. Thursday with possession of marijuana. Laporte was struck by another driver on the Twin Cities Highway and while he wasn’t found to be at fault in the incident officers discovered a bag of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket.  

North Tonawanda 

CONTEMPT: Brian J. Miller, 23, 251 Fourth Street, Apt. 3, Niagara Falls, was charged at 2 p.m. Wednesday with criminal contempt. He was held for court. 

HARASSMENT: Jose O. Hernandez-Rossy, 22, 150 Germain St., Buffalo, was picked up on a warrant by New York State Police at 6:26 p.m. Thursday on the South Grand Island Bridge and brought to North Tonawanda Police headquarters, where he was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. The charges are related to an incident in November. Hernandez-Rossy was held for court in lieu of $5,000 bail.
