Once a thriving industrial center, the waterfront in Homestead, Pa., is now home to a massive outdoor shopping center which includes a 22-screen movie theater, strip malls, restaurants and an apartment complex. Running along the water is one of the few completed sections of a national trail system intended to go all the way to Washington, DC.
