Sabres lose Myers for rest of season

Tonawanda News — BUFFALO - The Buffalo Sabres have lost defenseman Tyler Myers for the remainder of the season due to injury.

Myers broke a bone in his leg during the Sabres' 5-1 loss Thursday night to the Montreal Canadiens at the First Niagara Center.

Sabres general manager Darcy Regier announced the injury on Friday but did not explain how or when Myers suffered the injury.
