I’m calling about the young girl that was assaulted. I’m hoping that the NT police don’t drop the ball on this investigation. It’s kind of odd that the police department was quoted in saying there is a lot of child molesters in the area but yet Niagara County chooses to not notify people of where child molesters are living. The Town of Tonawanda sends letters to everyone when a child molester moves in. Perhaps if Niagara County did that or North Tonawanda did that then this unfortunate incident wouldn’t have happened. I hope they find this guy. Good luck.

To the person that had written that the volunteer fire and EMT services is needed. I am also a volunteer with the City of Tonawanda and I totally agree with you and everyone that reads this article will get a lot of information.

I’m just calling in about the little girl that was attacked on Thursday. Why wasn’t the house boarded up in the first place or knocked down completely. I think somebody in the city of North Tonawanda was a little late on their job. I feel this might have never happened to the little girl if the house wasn’t there or was boarded up. Maybe the guy was sitting in the house, hiding in the house or living in the house and when she walked by that’s how he grabbed her. I really don’t know how it happened but I think that house should have been knocked down or boarded up long before that happened.

I feel terrible for this little girl that was abducted in North Tonawanda. However, if we didn’t have our clocks put ahead so early, maybe it wouldn’t have been so dark out when the children were walking to school maybe someone could have seen something. This was a bad idea. I don’t know whose idea this was to push the clocks ahead earlier. Certainly not to conserve energy because now the lights are on earlier. Maybe it could stop this from happening if it wasn’t so dark outside. I sure hope they find him.

Do you see what those weirdos Bush and Cheney have done to this country for their money hunger for oil? We are heading for the worst depression this country has ever had. Do you think that concerns that brainless fool you people put in for president? He lives like a king and some poor people have barely enough to get by. He and Cheney should be impeached just like the other one. The United States has become a sad nation. This won’t hurt the Bush family, but God have mercy on the poor souls that have so little.

Regarding the tragedy that happened on Gilmore. My thoughts and prayers go out to the young, courageous victim. Regarding the city’s response to this dilapidated property that was so inviting to the scum who did this ... You did nothing? You most certainly harassed everyone else in town over unregistered cars, or chipped paint, but you let this house go? Time for someone with half a brain to take over and clean up this city.
