Your article concerning the teacher in NT seems the same old thing with the NT Police Department. They go easy on the guilty and accuse the innocent as usual.

This is in regards to the abandoned house where the terrible crime happened. First of all, with all the bad comments made about our inspector coming down so hard on people trying to improve their property - he failed an innocent girl in a most horrible way. He should be held just as responsible for this crime as the sick individual who committed the crime. Second, how come the names and addresses of all sex offenders put in the newspaper on the front page so all citizens know who they are? They have already committed sex crimes, so they should pay the consequence of having their picture in the paper so the public can protect themselves. Years ago, this was done in the Tonawanda News. Let’s have it done again. Sex offenders have to register in the city they reside. If only the police have this information, it isn’t protecting the city, just the sex offenders. Let the public have this information in the newspaper.

I think it would be nice if the Tonawanda News would do an article on the different local townships paid versus volunteer fire companies. Maybe they could have response times, costs on the taxpayer, etc. That way, instead of people calling in with their opinions about it, we could have some cold hard facts to look at.

I, as a taxpayer in NT, hope that the teacher that was arrested is not on leave with pay. I pay the school taxes and I feel he does not deserve to be paid if he was arrested and is charged for the second time.

All you people that think the reason this kid was raped because there was an abandoned house. You gotta be kidding me. Do you think this man would have never done this to anybody if there wasn’t an abandoned house? No, you know very well he would have taken her someplace else. It had nothing to do with the house.

Could someone tell me if the status has been resolved on the North Tonawanda City Clerk?

Hello I’m calling about the teacher who was arrested in the City of Tonawanda for drugs and a suspended license. I hope you guys follow this story to find out how long they delayed these court cases on this guy and how long he is on paid suspension and how much it costs us when he should have been fired immediately without pay. I just want to know what it costs the taxpayers to terminate this man from the school system.
