To the person who is sick of people still discussing the old NT treasurer, I agree people should stop talking about it. However for you to say “she will do better next time” is a joke. There shouldn’t be a next time. People like you who are satisfied with incompetent politicians is the reason why this state is so messed up. People like you say they will do better next time and vote the same clowns back into office. If you are incompetent you shouldn’t be re-elected to any position new or old. Wake up.

What a great feeling when you find an apartment for your family, four legged and two legged that you can afford, enough bedrooms, even a yard. You start making it your home. Then a letter comes from the bank stating your landlord wasn’t paying. Now, it is in foreclosure, you need to pack up and leave. You’re stunned. Where can you find another place that you are now being forced to leave? You want to keep your child in the same school and area that will allow your pets. You’re sick with worry, you’re getting kicked out by no fault of your own. Why can’t we rent to own or land lease to own? Why should our family be worrying about the landlord paying his debt? This is not fair to any renter or their families.

In regards to that planned condo community: It says in the paper that is being rented to those 50 years or older. Sounds like housing discrimination to me.

Great, let’s save Melody Fair because of it’s history. It is exactly that, history. It is time this area moves into the 21st century. Our roads are worse than the old dirt roads, buildings are in terrible condition, it’s no wonder no one wants to come here or live here. Let’s get something done, before the entire area is one big senior facility.

So Jim Missall wants to save Melody Fair. Doesn’t he know that Melody Fair has been abandoned for five years? Maybe he should have done something five years ago. What’s next, save Roblin Steel?

I have been going to the Mighty Taco in Tonawanda for years back when it was on Main Street, and now on Niagara. I would like to say keep up the good work, I always walk out of there with a smile.
