To the person who thinks if you have kids that like to have fun you should live in the country, I say to you, why don't you go live in the country where it is as you put serene. When you live in a neighborhood with young families it is not always going to be serene. The way I see it, country living would suit you better! For the record, my kids do not run around screaming all day and night and my backyard fires are contained and not even big enough to make a difference unless you’re just nosey and like to make trouble.

A quote from the superintendent in Kenmore...“Numerous things have nothing to do with the problem we have to solve,” Mondanaro said. Does anyone know what he is talking about? Is this a new language?

You’re all wrong about what town has the worse roads. This year there are potholes everywhere in the City of Tonawanda. I've lived here for 45 years and have never seen the streets so bad. So you NT, Wheatfield and Niagara Falls whiners should keep quiet until you drive a mile in my Cobalt, in Tonawanda.

This is about the fellow who wants to preserve Melody Fair ... for the love of pete, why? That place is a hazardous dump! It’s so old and neglected it looks like it’s going to implode. There's a reason why it went under. I've got my hard hat on in anticipation of the demolition of that eyesore. Yet another beautiful thing to look at while driving through lovely North Tonawanda. I'd love to take a wrecking ball to that garbage pile.

Will someone please answer me when will the playground be fixed at Highland School? Don’t let another year go by!

Can the city justify the money to move the principal’s office at Highland School the new principal just had the old one painted. Great and the kids can’t even get the playground fixed. Get this new principal out!

Can you please tell me why these people who work at big corporations like General Motors have earned the highest amount of pay are the first ones to cry poor when they are laid off for two days. They don’t know how they are going to take care of their families, their children are going to starve, and they are going to have no Christmas. Can you tell me when they retire why they have to keep getting their insurance and health care paid for by these corporations when they are eligible for Social Security and Medicare — why are these corporations paying all this money for the insurance which they already have?

First, the boathouses were supposed to be historic boathouses. Now, Melody Fair, which has sat vacant for the last number of years, is supposed to be historic. It is about time the City of North Tonawanda looks out for what is best for the entire city. Bulldoze Melody Fair, bulldoze the boathouses and stop impeding progress. The people of this city want progress. We want new things, we want a tax base. A vacant Melody Fair and a couple old boathouses aren’t doing it. Bulldoze them all.

I noticed McCain is sucking up to President Bush. He wants the Iraq War to last as long as Bush. Well, good for you, dumb people. It wouldn’t be my son. I certainly wouldn’t be sending my son just for the sake of having a lot of money with the oil company. I don’t understand what’s wrong with you people. You talk about your kids going overseas fighting for their country. They are not fighting for this country. They are fighting for the likes of Bush and McCain, who I’m shocked at because he was the one that went through all the torture. These kids are coming home, and I’m even getting letters asking for donations to help restore legs that they need because their legs have been shot off completely. This is ridiculous.

Tell me why you would use $1.2 million to refurbish an area that no one wants to go into. It makes no sense.
