Tonawanda News — Congress should get together and talk like men instead of acting like children. There’s too much to lose by them keeping fighting. Why don’t they grow up? Anything would be better than these cuts. I think three terms is enough for them. Because you get those old folks in there that are 80 or 90 and they are just collecting the money so they can retire. And what are they gonna do with that money? They aren’t gonna live that long.

Has Mitt Romney taken all his money back in this country, so he can start paying taxes on it here and help our country out? Or does he still have his money stashed away so he doesn’t have to pay taxes on it? It would be nice if he didn’t hide his money from our government, the government he wanted to rule. He should pay taxes like everyone else on all those millions of dollars.

Let’s see if I got this correct. The nurses at Kenmore Mercy Hospital are protesting due to the new contract that was proposed to them, that they disagree with. One of the issues was a lack of overtime pay. I thought nurses were complaining due to burnout from a lot of work? Overtime means a lot of work. So don’t complain about burnout.

How is it in this country that they keep calling back medications because they are harming us. It’s constantly all over the TV. They are telling you if you took this or that, to call this number because you may have something wrong with you. They’re giving us medications that can hurt us. I don’t know if they are tested or not. They don’t want you to import any medications from Canada. But it seems to me that they have the safe medications and we don’t.

Whoever the small-minded geniuses are that redesigned the Drake School parking lot, and then approved it, should be fired. The school buses should be in the other parking lot and the parents picking their kids up should be in the bigger one. A kid is going to get hit and killed and someone is going to get sued. Then somebody is gonna be sad and somebody is gonna be mad.

I’m reading the Sound Off, and now that the presidential election is over, that extremely nasty Republican-hater has turned their attention to bad mouthing the mayor in the City of Tonawanda. I just wanna say I think he is doing a phenomenal job. He’s keeping our taxes down and thinking ahead for our future, unlike this president. And speaking of Young Street, it should be closed. Both Young and Niagara should be closed to get rid of that big mess. Get it back to the way it was years ago. Keep it up mayor Pilozzi, you’re doing a great job.
