Tonawanda News — I would like to know if someone could tell me how come we have to pay for  a copy at City Hall? We pay the wages for all those people to work. We also pay for all their little perks, plus the bonuses they get. Then they charge you a quarter a page. We pay for the paper, we pay for the ink. In other words we pay for everything, then we gotta pay again to get a copy for the thing we already paid for. I hope the voters get out this year and get somebody else in there.

Saw the article about a woman filing suit at the Love Canal site. No doubt that she bought the house cheap and knew what she was getting into when buying in Love Canal.

We had this well-informed Democrat in the paper on Saturday, who is getting sick of all the Republicans complaining all the time. Well guess what, we don’t really complain about Obama. We’re just waiting until the end of the year to hear you cry instead of us. You got it the wrong way around. You are gonna be crying when you see what’s coming down the pipe. You have no idea of the medical expenses for older people that they are not gonna cut because all the cuts and that. All your hospitals are getting points for not helping old people. All you young people are gonna be hurtin’ too. Just wait eight months and see.

I worked for Gannett for 38 years and when USA Today was started we lost everything, just to support Al Neuharth’s baby. Many people were hurt by the self-centered way to create the paper. So you won’t have to shovel the burial to crew him into the ground.
