Tonawanda News — If you believe that the public educational system isn’t good enough for your children then you need to foot the cost of sending them somewhere else. Don’t expect the rest of the taxpayers to take care of that for you. It’s your children, you make decisions, you foot the bill.

I’m calling about the red light cameras in Tonawanda. I’m just saying it’s a bunch of crap. If the cops can’t do their job then get rid of them. They don’t need to put that up. It’s all a money-making deal.

On Feb. 11, I was at that council meeting that person called in about and I agree with that person whole-heartedly that the council president shouldn’t of acted the way he acted. He acted like a little child who didn’t get his own way and I think it’s about time he retired. He’s been there for over 20 years.

Regarding the state paying for college education for prison inmates. I agree idealistically but not financially. How about loaning interested inmates the money just like regular students on the outside. Having to pay back money might weed out the genuinely interested students from the freeloaders.

To the residents of North Tonawanda. City Hall just paid out settlements for flooded basements from the July storm. No one contacted me and I lost everything. What’s going on? I want answers.

I don’t feel it’s right for us to be paying for somebody else to go to college who’s in jail. If they want to go to school when they get out they can get a loan like every normal person. Otherwise, I want you to pay for schooling for me and all my family. No it’s not fair or just for paying for prisoners to go to college when we can’t even afford to go to college ourselves.
