The Tonawanda News

Tonawanda News — The handful of critics from the bland and the boring who continue to attempt to discredit the government officials of North Tonawanda need to have a reality check. Earth to space. The people of North Tonawanda elected fairly and voted for the people who are in charge of the government at this time. I realize that this causes a lot of jealousy on the small group of people who want to get into what they call a power position. But that’s just green-eyed envy. The taxpayers and residents of North Tonawanda have spoken. They like the people that are in charge of North Tonawanda.

I know we have handicapped parking and that. And you are supposed to be handicapped when you use the handicapped parking. I think the police should do a little bit more checks on the handicapped parking. Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of people that aren’t handicapped and using cars with handicapped stickers and they are walking normal. That’s not right.

I just now realized what a valuable public service the Tonawanda News Sound Off is providing. I’m clearly convinced that it’s taking a ton of pressure off all the many crisis hotlines and suicide prevention centers during this joyous holiday season. After reading Saturday’s sad sack edition about the passing of the good ole’ days I was all set to start the car in the garage. But I had an epiphany, hey why don’t I volunteer somewhere and go out and make someone else’s day better?
