Tonawanda News — Can the Mayor of NT please get the owners of Mid-City Plaza to patch up the potholes before we all lose our cars? This is the same every year with that place and the holes are there until well into the summer and then some! The one on the access road behind the hardware store has been there forever.

Chris Christie taking responsibility? Don’t make me laugh. He denied over and over that he knew anything about the bridge closing and today on the news, he came out and said he did know. Look closely at Glenn Beck, he has horns. You people are a joke!

So the NT school board wants to put artificial turf down. I say no, I don’t care what a reader stated, “if it cost any.” Our board members are here for us, the taxpayers. If not, vote them out, it’s bad enough that we voted for a husband of a school teacher. What interest do you think he has?  Not ours, he voted for her contract raise.

Am I the only one who finds it very unfair that North Tonawanda School District closed Tuesday and cancelled all Regents exams, forcing all of those kids to wait until June to take their test, yet opened and gave the students the tests on Wednesday? Who is to say that the kids who needed to take the Global 10 (the hardest of all Regents exams) and the math exam are less important than the other students who took tests on Wednesday? Now these kids have to wait until June? Really Mr. Fisher? Not good PR.
