Tonawanda News — To the uninformed person saying we are a joke pertaining to Christie’s innocence, maybe you should check facts before running off the mouth. He did not admit to knowing. Search the Internet if you like. The New York Times on one day said there was evidence of his guilt and had to take it back the next day. The man saying Christie knew, who by the way was fired by Christie, took the fifth when questioned. What does that tell you about his credibility? Notice you didn’t contradict about Obama and his chronies not fessing up.

Just what the City of Tonawanda needs. Two near-sighted councilwomen that could care less about public safety.

I’m calling about the person who wrote in about the guy on the bicycle riding on the wrong side of the street. You know it’s the middle of winter and it’s the only way the guy has to get to work. You must be really bored if that’s all you’ve got to pay attention to.

The gentleman you’re referring to riding his bike Jan. 22 happens to be an employee of a local business who was trying to get to work. If the streets were plowed, he wouldn’t have to be on the wrong side of the street. He wears reflective coating to make sure that drivers do see him. So if you are blind enough to not see him then maybe you shouldn’t be on the road.

I just read in Sound Off about the mailman. Yes, they do a wonderful, wonderful job. But people forget about the news carriers. Those kids are out every day delivering the paper in the same kind of weather. And sometimes we forget to tip them.
