The Tonawanda News

Tonawanda News — Two years ago I grew disgusted with Time Warner’s constant rate hikes. I switched to antenna TV. I may not get the 350 channels I never watched but I do find enough to keep me satisfied. In the meantime, I’ve saved approximately $2,000. Today, Time Warner will hike rates 6.4 percent. Inflation is around 1.9 percent. For all you Time Warner customers, buy an antenna. You’ll be glad you did.

What’s wrong with this picture? They don’t want to raise the minimum wage for people who actually work for a living but they want to give free college education to prisoners. Only in the good US-of-A. This is a crime.

There’s a brand new, beautiful business at the end of Ironton and Eighth Avenue. They did a beautiful job cleaning that building up. They did the parking lot and put a road in behind Roblin Steel. The roads that lead to that beautiful business that’s putting money into our town? They look like crap. I can’t believe their employees and their clients would want to stay in NT, knowing they have to drive over these roads. It’s embarrassing. They are probably wondering what this town is doing with the tax money they’re paying.
