Tonawanda News — I agree with Barbara Tucker about the news stations, it’s all they give you is the weather. I watch Channel 4 and they give you the weather five times. And they advertise all day they give you the best weather. All you need to do is look out the window. And now they have four hours of news. And it’s the same exact thing the whole four hours. I think it’s time nobody watched the news anymore. Go back to the Irv Weinstein days when they only had news a half-hour and weather only once during the half hour.
I’m so glad that I retired and left NY State, you people got everything you deserved when you elected Gov. Cuomo. I hope he bleeds you out of every penny you have. Education for inmates, good for you.
To anyone who objects to the bait-n-shoot program, especially the reader who expressed “...our program of killing off God’s creatures like the deer,” so we can drive more careful. First, I live in a neighborhood where they are extremely prominent. They walk the streets in broad daylight, and even more at night. They feed on our hard-earned landscaping shrubs and bushes till they’re almost bare. The deer run out on the roads and it can be almost impossible to avoid them sometimes. Now, let’s use a different analogy for “God’s creatures.” What about the program of killing off the mosquitoes in the summertime? Do you enjoy the itching as they’re sucking your blood while you sit outside enjoying the day, or is your argument to go inside a screened porch or move away? North Tonawanda used to have a program to spray for mosquitoes in the woods, when it was really bad. In other words, your argument is moot unless you include all creatures, big and small, furry or not.
