Tonawanda News — If the deer would just pay attention to the deer crossing signs, and cross where there suppose to we wouldn’t have all the car-deer accidents in North Tonawanda.

I agree with the person who said they should end daylight savings time and extend the school year. The only problem is who’s going to pay the teachers year-round. I do agree with the caller, they spend too much time in summer vacation and all they do is get in trouble anyway.

The Tonawanda Coke plant, North Tonawanda gets a lot of their air from Tonawanda. When it blows from the northwest it’s coming from Tonawanda into North Tonawanda. So we’ve probably been breathing a lot of the Tonawanda Coke debris.

Tonawanda Coke must pay $25 million in fines to the government. All the people who live around Tonawanda Coke who have suffered terrible illnesses, they get nothing. Unless, of course, they go on their own and sue Tonawanda Coke. By that time Tonawanda Coke will declare bankruptcy. Even if they do win, the lawyers will get one-third of the money. The people suffer, the lawyers benefit, the government benefits. Isn’t it great to live in America?
