Tonawanda News — Someone wants to see Sarah Palin president? That just goes to show you how sick the Republicans are.

So the politicians want to give people a $350 rebate check. Not the people who need it and are making minimum wage and earning nothing, but the people earning between $40,000 and $350,000. Do they really need that money. When it comes election time even if you get a rebate check, if you vote for them you’re a darned fool.

So Pilozzi raises the taxes in the City of Tonawanda and gives himself and his friends a raise. Isn’t that nice. He really cares about the City of Tonawanda. Wouldn’t it be nice if we ever had politicians who did anything for the people?

I’m a concerned taxpayer and I would like to know why we have full-time positions at the NT parks department. The city wants to cut costs they need to put the full-time parks department people over at the DPW in the winter. The DPW does a heck of a job. The full-time positions at the parks department are being paid so well when it’s the part-time people doing all the work. I’m really disgusted with this city. They want to save money but they’re doing it in all the wrong places. The parks department is a seasonal job. And the parks are always really run down.

They’re going to do more free trade? How much more free trade do we need? You already destroyed all the industrial jobs in the country because of free trade. Next it’ll be all the electronics design and computer jobs. You people don’t think. Free trade is supposed to be so great and it has ruined this country.
