Tonawanda News — What is the matter with the City of Tonawanda officials in the schools? Don’t they know how to add and subtract? After all, the taxes are probably gonna go way up. This is ridiculous. Everybody’s moving out cause taxes are getting so high, they can’t afford it. They sold the schools, what did they do with all that money? The superintendent and principals have to get together and lay off some of these teacher aides.

You know Tops, if you want more people to shop in your store you need to lower your prices and stop doing all those gimmicks like Monopoly. Have more customer service and you’ll get more people shopping in your store. The store is always out of things, the prices are outrageous and there is no customer service for people.

It must be Canal Fest time. They’re patching all the holes in the big lot where they park their trucks and have all the rides and everything. It’s a nice thing that Canal Fest comes once a year cause the holes get patched. We’re still waiting for it to get paved though.

It would be nice if the new mayor took a ride to Canandaigua to see what a nice waterfront they have. It’s so neat and clean and just perfect. Do something similar with the City of Tonawanda’s waterfront. Because the City of Tonawanda’s waterfront, Niawanda Park, is really disgusting.

We don’t want out tax dollars going towards a billion dollar Buffalo Bills football team. Ever since Mr. Wilson died, that’s all they’re talking about is spending our tax dollars on the Buffalo Bills, building a new stadium. I’d like to know when the politicians are going to listen to the taxpayers. Let them pay for their own stadium. They have millions and millions and millions of dollars. Let them spend it.
